We sat down with Caroline Tavares, who we recently shot in Spain for our newest arrivals, to explore the places, rituals and inspirations that shape her world.

From the rhythm of New York and her ever-present R&B soundtrack to the places that bring her back to herself, Caroline shares the simple pleasures that keep her grounded.

Here, she talks us through her favourite escape, rituals, packing essentials and where she hopes to travel to next.

What’s your favourite place to unwind and why?

Probably my parents house in Brazil. It’s one of the few places where I can truly switch off, put my phone away and just be present. I love spending time with my family there, having simple moments together and enjoying the feeling of being at home. It reminds me that I don’t always need to be doing something, I can just slow down and enjoy the moment.

A ritual or habit that grounds you?

Taking care of my body. Going to the gym and eating healthy helps me feel balanced and connected to myself, no matter where I am. Even when I don’t have access to a gym, I can always stretch, do some yoga in my room, or simply move my body. It’s a small routine that reminds me to slow down and take care of myself.

One item you always pack on a trip?

Bikini

What’s a book that has transported you somewhere else?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It made me feel like I was travelling alongside Santiago on his journey, discovering new places, meeting different people and learning about following your dreams. It wasn’t just a story... it made me reflect on my own dreams and what I want to achieve in life.

What playlist are you listening to right now?

R&B Mix

What’s next on your bucket list?

I am planning to be in Brazil for Christmas & NYE and I will try to stay until the Carnaval
