In our first edition, we sit down with model Julia Rose to talk inspiration, escapes and the rituals that brings her back to her centre, a postcard from her world to yours.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration in a bit of everything. When I’m walking down the street, in nature, in art, in fashion and of course, on Pinterest.
Where's your favourite place to unwind and why?
I live in Paris but I'm from Marseille and I love going back to the South, it really soothes me: the sea, my family and the good food make me so happy.
A ritual or habit that grounds you?
I don’t really have a ritual, but I’d say calling my mom regularly 🤍
One item you always pack on a trip?
I always stick to my skincare routine!
What’s a book that has transported you somewhere else?
Just Kids by Patti Smith. It transports me to New York in the 60s and 70s, with lots of references to art.
My Brilliant Friend” by Elena Ferrante which takes place in Naples between the 1950s and 1960s.
What are you listening to right now?
I like listening to a bit of everything, but right now I’m loving Justin Bieber’s latest album.
What’s next on your bucket list?
My bucket list is so long but I’d say Brazil and New York.
